Agronomic Features

Rocket yields higher than Premiere or Maris Bard. The variety sprouts readily bulks early and responds well to polythene. It produces a low canopy, avoiding wind damage and is particularly well suited to Northern European climates.

Crop Quality

Rocket is one of the earliest of  first early varieties. Rocket has white skin and white flesh combined with excellent cooking qualities. Its firm waxy texture and
good flavour when dug make it ideal for the first early fresh market.
