Agronomic Features

Kingsman has consistently excelled in a number of overseas trials over a number of years out-yielding Spunta, Desiree and Hermes in North-Africa and Spain. In UK trials, Kingsman has typically yielded 115% of Maris Piper with 35% – 45% ‘baker’ content. Superior Blackleg and damage resistances.

Crop Quality

Early maincrop variety producing very high yields of long-oval tubers with pale yellow flesh. Excellent bright skin finish with shallow eyes. Higher dry matter (typically 22%) than Estima giving good taste and eating qualities which are well received by the consumer.
