Agronomic Features

Bambino has up to 20% higher yields than Maris Peer. It has excellent resistance to Powdery and Common scab and consistently produces good skin finish. Good resistance to Gangrene, Dry rot and Blackleg give good storability with long dormancy. Potential for organic salad production. Resistance to Ro1 is unusual compared to other salad varieties.

Crop Quality

Bambino produces high yields of small short oval tubers of medium dry matter. Good eating quality ideally suited for salad potato market.

All consumer taste tests have been very positive and Bambino is now approved by all of the main UK supermarkets.
